This is a demo site to show off the features of Minerva. There is only one area for you to edit; however, several areas on the same page can be made accessible. You can edit the content below by accessing the control panel.

After logging in, navigate around the site and edit any of the sections that were available to be edited. These sections are indicated by small control buttons. This page is static, but you can go to the test page and click the "e" button to edit and the "s" button to save after you are finished.
The backward and forward buttons allow you to navigate through version history, which is handy in case a mistake is made.
The code that is generated from Minerva is 100% "HTML 4.01 Transitional" valid markup and compatible with all browsers as per the W3C web standards. This also helps with search engine optimization. While the web site code generated by Minerva can be seen by most browsers, the editor unfortunately can not. In order to take advantage of the powerful editor, you will need to be using Firefox, Internet Explorer (6.0 or higher), or Netscape. Some version of Opera and Konqueror are also compatible; however, Safari is not and niether is Internet Explorer 5.0 on the Macintosh (which is an unsupported browser anyway, you should really think about upgrading).

Minerva is a complete solution for many types of web sites. It gives the user the power of editing the content (which includes text and images) on their site as well as having the knowledge of who is visiting their site and how well they are doing in terms of search engine optimization. It can be applied to any new or existing static site.
It's only fitting that the title for this web application comes from the Roman Goddess of craft and widsom.
